trying to get this pic to work for my avatar. when I size it to 64 x 64 pixels it still says its too big because of the bytes? Can anyone help with this? Thanks!!!

did a little color correction also - post the original photo and I can make the avatar even better.

You will have to find an image editing software. These can be downloaded easily on the internet, a quick google will help. Becoming a contributing member will allow you to have your avatar 100x100pixels vs the 64x64 capacity you have now ;)

Easy Thumnails: http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/ is a great resizing utlity that I use a lot. Plug in 64x64 as the max dimentions and go. Easy as that.

So phantom, how come you only have a 64 x 63 avatar anyway. think how much cooler that cow would be if it were a glorious 36 pixels larger.

Maybe the flashy eyes takes up more bytes or bits w/e.

actually its because before i became a contributing member, this was my avatar. Then i contributed, and did not want to bother changing the avatar...
