Hi, just want to make it official that this is what I'd like to be referred to from now on.

I thought it might have got lost in the other thread.

Thanks for immediately clicking this thread because you care so much what I say.

Mr. Limpet.

P.S. while you are here, please time some time to read my signature.

How many vents does that Limpet have and how many grams is it? Is there a listing on WeightWeenies, yet?

Please provide a review of the Limpet Lid.

The fact that EURO would go on record requesting to be referred to as not only limp but incredibly limp
gives me pause...

Here's what Christopher Null, at filmcritic.com, had to say about The Incredible Mr. Limpit:

"Suitable only for the very, very young and the massively -- massively -- medicated."

Pretty much hits the nail on the head. http://http://www.advrider.com/forums/images/smilies/wave.gif Hey buddy!

You should be incredibly proud that so many people love and adore you that they want to make unmerciless fun of you. Now it is Mr. Limp-what?
Seriously, I think this is a much better approach than calling everyone "******". Keep it up and someone might start liking you.

Comic genious!

Edit: Greetings Mr. Limpet!
Thank-you sir! May I have another?

Don Knotts, The Incredible Mr. Limpet, an animated movie from the 60's about a nerdy guy who turns into a fish and defeats the German Navy in World War II. This is rather ironic since Ben Cousins doesn't believe the Americans took any significant role in defeating the Germans.

There's a part of me that sometimes wishes I were so bold to establish other identities just to make your life miserable as it obviously works when others do it. But alas, I, unlike you, Mr. Ben Cousins,"Lead Designer for the EyeToy group at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s London Studio", am more than willing to take responsibility, credit and blame for the things I say and write.

RESPONSIBILITY - type that into your often used, but apparently not comprehended Wikipedia.

This thread is so great because hi565 got the wonderful notion to move it over to the FOO section, which is forcing many BF'ers to stray away from the Roadie board to have a go at EURO.

Pretty entertaining!

Enough hailing yet?

EURO, you're already a recreation of an annoying individual, but really, trying to live in this gray area between anonymous and genuine just isn't working. Of course, neither was your old plan. And taking Rad's quote out of context for your sig... now there was a brilliant idea. I've seen better tactics out of a squirrel playing chicken with my front wheel.

Soooo. Excuse me if I have been out of the loop, but why do you want to be called Mr. Limpet? That was one of my favorite movies back in the day.

In a thread named Race2 in the road cycling forum the following was posted capturing a quote Ben Cousins/Euro made in the www.kingstonwheelers.com forum.

reading some of Ben's...err, Euro's posts on the Wheelers website:

"Knowing he's the expert, I clung onto Thorsten’s back wheel like a limpet"

I believe this to be the first time "limpet" was ever used to describe an admitted act of wheelsucking. Whilst it led to a good chuckle, and the turn of phrase was positively Churchillian, I'm quite hoping this isn't the sign of creeping seafood analogies here at BF. Indeed.

Siu... this is a Road Forum issue that got "Foo'd" by the mods....

It's made for some funny reading. The original "Race 2" post has devolved into mixed-drink recipes and so forth.

OOOOOkay.... Thank you for the clarification. I think.

Well, you really have to have read the entire Race2 thread and know all about EURO's history in order to fully appreciate the hilarity of this situation here.......but anyway, just take it from all of us who've said it already, it's really really funny.

[QUOTE=BeeTL]I never got the Don Knotts connection...now I do!

There is certainly a striking resemblance between Mr. Knotts and some guy in the Kingston Wheelers...
