Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Steamrollers and Kryptonite: a very specific question.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Does anyone know if a Kryptonite Evolution Mini (http://www.kryptonitelock.com/inetisscripts/abtinetis.exe/PublicArticleDetails@public?artid=2792&atf=products_item&pgrp=20) will reach around a Deep V to a Steamroller downtube? I want to know if I can lock the front wheel to the frame with this or if I need a longer lock. This question is kinda a longshot but I figured if anyone was going to know, he or she would be here.

I have a 53 Steamroller, and that same lock, with Mavics and the setup fits fine.

The best answer I can give until someone with more specific experience comes along:
It won't work. I have a mini, and a Pista (more trackish/tighter geometry than the 'roller?), and non-deep v wheels, and it's usually a PITA to lock the wheel and frame to a bike rack, stop sign, etc.
edit: beaten
also, I might have misread: are you talking about just locking the wheel to the frame, or locking both to a stationary object?

I'm just looking to lock my front wheel to the frame, a 56cm Steamroller. I have another lock for the rear that is big enough for stationary objects . The rims will be (poser caps on everyone?) Velocity Deep Vs, if you need specifics.

Are you running the Mavic CXP33s?

I am using MA3's
this will work for lockin your wheel to frame, and can even lock to other object, but its a pain in the ass.
