Well, I have been reading these discussions for a couple of weeks, it's good for inspiration! I live in Colorado (the flat part...!)
I am almost totally a commuter. I have been riding to work for about 7 years. It's such a short ride that it almost doesn't count as excersize! But, hey, at least I'm not using fossil fuels! I guess I'm considered "militant" by some people. I believe that bicyclig should be encouraged as legit transportation (through better protection, facilities, etc.)
My bike isn't really noteworthy, it's an old squeaky mountain bike... I also have a nice one that mostly lives in the garage (that's just not right is it!) for recreational rides (or when the commuter has a flat...)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
