Two friends and I are heading from San Francisco to Los Angeles tomorrow to tour alongside the Tour of California (pro bicycle race). This is my friends' first muti-day tour and we agreed to motel it the whole way. I cannot believe how little one needs to pack when not camping!. I will probably go with just the rear panniers and I will still have lots of room to take some of my friends' stuff. Also, I can't believe how cheap the beach motels are off-season. This won't work out too bad at all.
I am sure I will go back to camping for the next tour, but who knows, a warm bed every night? Could I possibly get spoiled? Nahhhhh if that were the case, I would just stay home. I will be back at the campgounds.
