I used to be an avid biker some 20 ( i used own a bianchi road bike) years ago and looking to get back into it. but i feel like a newbie, I cant even get the size right? I am 5'9" 210 lbs and have been to 2 bike shops and cant seem to get a straight answer for what is the right size for me ...today a sales guy was trying to sell me a "medium" giant bike... anyways I want to stick with Bianchi what frame size would work for me? BTW if you are looking to sell your Bianchi and are in the SF bay area drop me a note. i will be at best a weekend rider so it does not have to be perfect sizing to the milimeter just the correct range, since I am looking to buy a used one. thanking you in advance..

You should probably start with standover height. Try seeing how much damage a 53cm bicycle does when you stand over it (rather than sit on it...)

Then read:

http://www.peterwhitecycles.com/fitting.htm

Bianchis are nice, aren't they?
