In with the bunch.

http://www.londoncyclesport.com/pics_2006_rd/hill_rr_14/84.jpg

Results will follow in the next few days, I would estimate I was once more in the top 10, probably top 5 in the 3rd category race.

Great race three is up, so I'll start.

We like to make mashed sweet potatoes instead of traditional mashed potatoes. The recipe is quite simple:

3-4 large sweet potatoes washed and pealed
1/2 tsp of nutmeg
2 tbsp of butter
salt and pepper to taste
1/8 cup of milk

In a large pot bring water to boil. Add sweet potatoes and cook until very tender. Drain and add ingredients. Mash.

I also have a great recipe for sweet potato fries that are baked and very good. I'll hold that one back until race 4.

Oh yeah nice finish EURO, keep your eye on the prize and all that.

Congrats EURO, I've not seen you around for a while. Good to see you're still in the game.

Take it easy.

Really good job, but I think we would enjoy your posts more, take them a bit more seriously, if you actually gave a race report. Check out the Racing forum and look at the posts from SteveAZ, Pizzaman and myself, it makes for much more interesting reading.

Easy sport I'm not patronising you, I'm serious. I would really like to hear your race report. I think reading about what it's like to race in Europe from someone who's doing it first hand would be interesting.

Look I'm not going to lie to you and say that I think you've done your best to win over the 'hearts and minds' of the members of this forum. But I do respect the effort you are putting in to achieve your goals. I work hard at my racing also so I understand the sacrifices that you are making. But most of us would be less inclined to give it back to you if you were more forthcoming about your races and the sacrifices leading up to them. Seriously you don't see this type of reaction toward the other racers on this forum. Give it shot you've got nothing to lose.

I would agree. Some of us would like to read a race report, hell, even a well written recreational ride report is fun to read,(like OC Roadie has done). Give it up.

3/4 teaspoon Crystal hot pepper sauce
Tony Chachere’s original or other spicy stuff to taste…

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Directions:

Drink a beer to get ready.

Put the ribs in the smoker or on the top rack of the grill early in the morning and plan for a LONG day!

Have another beer.

Puree the whiskey, garlic, and onion in a blender until absolutely smooth.

Have another beer.

In a medium-large pot cook up the mixture over high heat until boiling.

Have another beer.

Reduce to medium heat, and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the mixture is clear vs. milky.

Have another beer.

Pour in the remaining ingredients.

Have another beer.

Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 20-30 minutes for thin sauce to 3 hours for gooey sauce.

I'm with 2Roadies. EURO, it's not secret what your reputation is on the board, even someone as thick skulled as you knows it. Now since you've started racing, and doing well I'll agree, you seem to have lightened up a tad. But by a tad I mean the smallest margin imaginable by a human being. I give credit where credit is due, and I'll say that you are doing well in your races, but your posts about them leave much to be desired. It seems your only purpose of the last two have been to shove your results in the faces of those who 'doubted' you. And maybe, that's exactly what your intent is. Guess that's our loss as much as it is yours.

Go have a good  or five, maybe we'll get lucky and you'll have a happy drunk. From all the photos I've seen of you thus far, you're sure not very cheerful sober! ;)

N-euro-tic.

Might be a coincidence -- but I think there may some hidden meaning or association.

My favorite protein shake:

3/4 cup orange juice
two tablespoons blueberries
4 large strawberries
6 ounces of vanilla creme lite yogurt
1 scoop optimum nutrition vanilla whey protein
6 - 8 ice cubes
put it all in the blender

It makes a great protein shake, tastes more like a desert though. I generally drink it a couple of hours before bed.

EURO - seriously mate, if you don't have permission to post the photo from the photographer it is indeed copyright infringement. Your photo is a direct link from londoncyclesport.com who does have permission to post the photos on THEIR website. At the absolute least you could edit your original post with a link back to the photograher's website giving credit. (Yes I know his website and name are embedded in the image, why do you think they are there? To ensure no one else takes credit for the work.)

Ok, where's the spinach lasagna recipie; I've been eagerly awaiting....

Okay.

You'll need romano cheese, parmesean cheese, goat cheese, sour cream, fresh cream, mushrooms, onions, spinach, lasagna noodles, salt, pepper, garlic.

Saute the onions in some olive oil with the garlic. Add the mushrooms a bit later to soften them up. Spinach is cleaned and chopped a bit, doesn't need to be too small. Cook the noodles to soften them up but still firm to the bite.

Mix the onions, mushrooms, garlic with the sour cream, fresh cream and cheeses. Not too soupy, not too dry. Season it up with salt and pepper, maybe some parsley or thyme.

Cover the bottom of the casserole dish with noodles, then the cheese mixture, then plenty of spinach, repeat until dish is full. Bake at 350-375F; when almost done, spread some grated cheese on top.

MR. LIMPET'S FISH TACOS

Organic corn tortillas
Orange roughy fish
Mayonnaise
Lettuce (head, Romaine)
Tomato
Oil (canola)
Organic refried beans
Cook tortillas in 3 tablespoons of hot oil, fold over to make taco shell. Drain off on paper towel. Cook fish in corningware dish with a little butter, in hot 350 degree oven about 20 minutes. Spread mayonnaise inside taco shells. Remember to warm the beans. Place beans, fish, lettuce (shredded), chopped tomatoes inside taco shells. Top with sour cream and guacamole

LIMPETS KLALLAM, INDIAN STYLE

Find a large intertidal rock that is covered with limpets. • Lay a blanket of carefully rinsed (in sand-free seawater) sea vegetable over the rock and cover the sea vegetable with hot stones. The tiny mollusks will loosen their holds as they become cooked. Eat them on the spot or take them home.
