Just wondering if anyone swims during the winter for cycling cross training? My school has a nice pool where I could swim two or three times a week, but not sure how much it will help my cycling. Do I gain cardiovascularly? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks. Zach
Though I doubt the muscles used would be of specific benefit while cycling, you certainly will benefit your cardiovascular systems. There is also the positive effect on the upper body to be considered.
