Hey guys I ride a DK 4 pack with an alex e supra triple wall rim on the back end...and I was wondering what was the best way to take off all the black paint from my rim so that I can make it silver. I've heard using sandpaper would work but just need some confirmation. rockon. and thanks.

Are you sure it's paint and not anodized aluminum? Either way sanding it off will look like crud. It will leave lots of scratches and still be black around the spoke nipples. If you REALLY must have silver rims buy new ones. Refinishing your present ones (to where it looks good) will cost just as much or more.

when you sand your black rims the scratches make it rougher and make the breaking easier...and more beterer!

These guys say you can use oven cleaner to remove anodizing. And you can also polish it out. I never tried it but it sounds much more betererer (oops!) than sanding.
