I'm proud to say that I buillt my computer from scratch. I don't know all that much about computers but I'm a very hands-on kinda guy. I didn't have all those little helpers to do mine, though :(

Oh great. I'm getting a computer in a few months, and now I have this urge to make one that looks like Castle Grayskull. I'll be asking phantomcow for info on building my own parts (though I'd probably go lexan or something moldable for the outside, then a painting.)

I built my own setup as well, been going strong for 3 years. I got the Sunbeam acrylic case, the transparent is awsome! ANd you could easily pretty it up, i but the little stickers that come with bike components on it :)

My last 3-4 PCs have all been self built. Not rocket science as long as you read up a little bit and know what parts are compatable and have everything you need.
The DOOM3 case is a work of art. There are tons of modded boxes out there, but that one stands above them all. I remember following the thread on a computer forum when that thing was built.
