I've done away with one goal and that was to do a 24 hour race, changed that to a total miles goal.

So far I've:

Remained injury free relatively.
Well on pace for my mileage goal of 16,000 miles.

Goals Completed:

Have successfully Completed an unsupported Trail Century.
Proved to my friend who is a LBS owner that I am not compatible with dual compound michelins.
Got over my fear of small children.
Switched over to a 20mm dropout fork
Manualling Log Rides.

It's been a good year so far.

How about you?

I don't have any goals, but I have things that I want to do (i guess they could be considered goals...)

8 hr. ride
Take advantage of the trails near me (since I will have my license)
Hook up w/ other riders and go on some group rides

Thats about all :)

there were several goals.

1. wanted to bike all through the winter. 2-3 days a week. So far I have done that successfully. but, this winter was/is pretty mild. I had the same goal last winter, but I had to stop half way through.

2. got the bike that I wanted - Kona Cinder Cone

3. lost 15lbs, winter training and biking. getting ready for an action packed spring and summer.

4. trying to organize a bike recycling project for the kids (street children) in developing countries. there are several on going projects, but I am trying to start one for a particular part of the globe. still a lots of works to do. wish me luck.

above all, having a great time with my family.

I am actually a little ahead of my total mileage goal so far. My goal is 6,000 miles. That shouldn't be a problem.

I want to do some road races this year. I was supposed to do my first last weekend but it was postponed due to snow. I am planning on doing one or two this coming weekend though.

I want to do at least 95% of the workouts my coach sets up for me. So far I have only missed two since September.

I want to be at 165 pounds for xc race season, it begins April 23 for me. I am currently at 170 pounds so that shouldn't be a problem. I may actually shoot for 160 pounds.

I want to get some podium finishes this season and move up to expert in 2007. Still too early to know how this is going to workout.

I want to attend the mtbr slatyfork shuffle again this year and possibly one other gathering. Shouldn't be a problem.

I want to lead group rides with riders of all ages and abilities. I hope to get a lot of new people interested in the sport.

I want to purchase a new home this year. Hopefully this one works out for me.

My goal is to have the most fun possible riding my bike with my friends and son this year. I did have a couple of drops I wanted to do for a while but I didn't have the right bike. I got those out of the way as soon as I got the Bullit.
