Foo - what is your most used smiley thing?

siu, we know you use this most :rolleyes: but I think I use :p most, not that I use any of them much..

I only use :) when writing e-mails, so I end up using http://www.bikeforums.net/images/smilies/smile.gif a lot.

Somehow the notion of pictures as punctuation just doesn't work for me.I used to be one of those, too, until I realized most people have a 2nd grader's ability to detect sarcasm and/or humor on the internet. Also, many times in an argument, people will turn off their sense of humor in a calculated manner to make you look bad, smilies leave little doubt as to your context. It's a necessary evil, my friend.

I tend to use :eek: a fair bit, but not more than others. I rarely go into the 'other' smiley listing so those that show up by default when posting are highly likely to show up in one of my posts. Though I always like to send another poster a :beer: after a job well done.
