Foo - Canadian Women's Hockey Team

Not only took the gold, but outscored their opponents through the tournamant by a combined 46 - 2. I'm not prone to hyperbole, but it's fair to say that they CONQUERED THE WORLD! Only letdown: No Canada-USA final. They usually put on a pretty good tilt.

Congratulations to the ladies. Well done!

Congrats Canada on your gold medal performance.

It was the two best teams going for the gold Canada vs. Sweden. These two teams wanted the gold. Sweden was driven by passion, teamwork and anger from the people who said they didn't stand a chance. Canada was driven by hard work; good coaching and great players that didn't lose their minds do to the media hype.

Congrats Sweden on the silver medal.

Sweden women's hockey will never be the same.

Congrats to the US (my home team) for bring home a bronze medal. Next time stay away from all the media hype and get the work done.

I watched as many games as were on US TV, they are a fun team to watch, and Great players...Salute!!

The Canadian women's team is the Soviet Red Army of women's hockey right now. It'll be a few years and some major dedication of resources before the Finns, Swedes, Czechs and Slovaks can field teams as good. Let's hope women's hockey doesn't go the way of women's softball.

As for men's hockey, if the Czechs and Slovaks still played as one team, they'd have a good chance at knocking off the Canadian men's hockey team.

Like anybody thought that we wouldn't win the Gold. :rolleyes: :D

I just hope that the men's team play the rest with the same teamwork the Ladies did.
I know it's the crunch now....they shoulda gotten together earlier and practiced more.
