Track Cycling - Zipp Wheels

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Noticed a few cats rollin' on them. They look nicely made but wonder are they stiff?? I dont have alot of experience with any Zipp product. I currently run CXp33's on formula hubs, 3 crossed, tied and soldered. They are stiff, but I grow learly about inflating my vittoria's up to 160lbs. The thing im sorta questionable about is that the 404 has radial spokes on the front. I weigh 180lbs, my local track is steep.
Any feed back on Zipp 404s would be great.

They are quite stiff. I'm 195 and the track here (Blaine) is 43°. No problems at all.
You might find my opinion biased though, as I have a pair of these for sale: :D

Just wondering why you are selling them?
