BMX - DK Fury?

Is the DK Fury any good? Its only $240.00 and it only weighs 24 lbs. Sorry im talking about the weight alot but i need a light bike for me because im 80 lbs and 4.10ft and pretty weak in my arms :(. But then im thinking about the DK Six Pack, but that one is 9 lbs heavier. Also what does it mean on www.dancomps.com

When they ship it they will take off the handlebars and the pedals and the tires and the seatpost. It is all simple enough to do yourself if you have a 15mm-(depending on how big your axle nuts are) wrench and some allen keys.


*Edit- Pedals can be tricky and its possible to ruin your pedals I always forget what way they screw on so I always start it by hand slowly. Sometimes it screws in turning left and sometimes right. Its going to be either or. You will want to grease everything... You want a bike shop to do this if you dont have the grease and tools.

It's not a bad bike, I've had it for about a year. It's kind of racing geometry, which is not always so good for riding street or trails or something.. and it's 6061 aluminum, not quite as nice a ride as cromoly I'd guess. It is light though. Depending on what you're going to ride mostly, I'd probably just get the 6-pack. You get better components, cromoly frame, etc.

The fury is more for racing, I would go with the six pack.

ok well what about Haro and Redline that is what my local store is selling like the Redline store has the roam for $200 is that anygood and the other store has SO MANY Haros like all different models i remember one called the Backtrail. Thanks

The six pack isn't going to be good for a kid his size- I'd be surprised if he could do a manual for 1/4 second...

what about a Haro Backtrail V1 i rode my friends that i havent seen in a while at the skatepark and it was cool for 200 at the local store. Also on my crappy gt bike or whatever it is i can almost do barspins! :). Just telling again im gonna use the bike for like manuals, high bunnyhops over things, skatepark that has bowls, airs off spine and stuff so what do you think i should get. Thanks!

Ya, I kind of didn't pay attention to his heigth until you pointed that out. I didn't realy relize he was 4'10".

The aluminum is not as strong. It's probly ok since your pretty light but I would only use the Fury for racing.
Get something shorter than the six-pack, like a step-up. Then upgrade some stuff if you want something nicer. You could get a set of sealed hub, 3/8" axle, double wall rims, for like $100.

save up to $300 and get a Six Pack..its a great bike for a begginer or even someone that needs a new bike and doesnt have lots of $$$ to build up a crazy custom complete...

i weigth 250 and 6.3 feet tall what bike do u think could handle all this? ;) hahah but seriously.
