A solicitation arrived in yesterday's mail from the National Parks Conservation Association (http://www.npca.org/about_npca/) . From what I've been able to determine this incorporated organization seems to be on the side of developing and preserving access to our National Parks for cyclist, hikers and other non-motorized forms or recreation as part of it's agenda.

Does anybody here support this group and have indepth knowledge of it's effectiveness regarding use of funds. How high a priority does bicycle access to the parks hold with them?

I'm thinking of making a contribution but I don't want the majority of my donation going to pay bigshot salaries or supporting the rights of jet-skiers and snowmobilers over bicyclist.
