Wait til they make bail :D . Besides CM people might not want to respond, leaving a trail, electronic or paper, of their activities. My own quiet little form of protest is riding on roads where the police are not always happy to see us but we have a right to be. That is open parts of freeways and Interstates. "If we do not exercise our rights we could lose them."

RE the freeway bit... I have to do that anyway as part of my route is ONLY accessable by freeway. (or was until recently... they just re-opened the back way which involves some 4 or so miles out of the way)
The funny thing is that while the city street and bike lanes lead right up to the freeway on and off lanes, CALTRANs has chosen not to mark their portion of the road with any bike lane stencils or signs... so it becomes an interesting statement of lack of support by the state agency. Magically somewhere along the offramps the bike lane suddenly becomes a bike lane. It is striped all the way, but on the freeway there are no marks except "Bicyclists must exit here."
