Tandem Cycling - What type of brake for this brake boss?

I am trying to find the right type of brake for this brake boss on my tandem... It does not have three holes like regular cantilever bosses, it has a crescent shaped raised lip, presumably for a specific type of brake...
Any thoughts would be helpful...

Just about any cantilever or linear-pull canti should work. However, it's missing the boss and base plate with the three holes you're looking for and that's why it's not obvious....

I'd recommend sending an Email with a link to that photo and your Serotta tandem's braze-on attached to the frame building supply company who has the photo on the Web site to see if they can hook you up with the missing pieces. Here's their contact info:
