Hi guys,

My LBS has both bikes last year leftover for about $1550. Is this a really good deal?
Does anyone have direct experience with these bikes or can otherwise steer me in either direction.

Happy trails,
Alex

Both look like a pretty good deal. You just have to ride them and figure out which you like. Let us know how they ride!

One thing to consider with the cannondale is the fork and the head tube....I may be wrong, but I do not think cannondale uses a 1 1/8" headtube, which may limit your choices if you should choose to change your fork later on. Just a thought.

Cannondale uses a 1.5" steerer tube, but there are adapters available.

I'm riding the 05' Cannondale F1000 now. I like it. As mentioned, the headset size is different, so you will need an adapter if you choose to change the fork later. But I think you'll like the Lefty fork anyway.
