I got a pair of old-school KKT Pro Ace pedals that I've taken apart to regrease. They have cast aluminum bodies with steel cages and steel bearing cups and I noticed that one of the outboard cups is cracked. The crack starts at the spindle side but fortunately hasn't reached the area where the bearings roll around.

I'm wondering if these cups are replaceable and if I can get parts at Loose Screws or something like that. These pedals are almost exact Campagnolo copies and I'm sure are the same or similar to MKS pedals.

Well the bearing races are in excellent condition, almost like new so I will just put them back together and ride them and hope the crack doesn't get worse. I was just curious if there are rebuild kits available and if anybody actually rebuilds pedals.

i noticed awhile back that rivendell carries mks road and track pedals. they also sell a repair kit. don't know if it is interchangable with kkt? the mks pedals look like campy nuovo record and i read that the end caps are interchangable. also checkout ben's bikes. they carry a lot of platform pedals also.
