I have a Campagnolo seat post with 27 stamped just above the Patent Campagnolo at the top of the post. Does the 27 mean 27.0 mm and would a 27.2 be stamped 27.2? My micrometer is at the shop. Thanks.

I have a 27.2mm it has 27.2 stamped on it.

What you see is what you get, 27 is 27.0. And Campagnolo was pretty darn accurate.

I think they may be more accurate than newer posts like Thomson - my Thomson slips around but even an older Zeus fits like a glove.
