I have been thinking of buying one or two of them and wanted to know if anyone has used these video's?
are they worth the money?

I've got 7 of them. They're worth every penny. Spinervals makes up the majority of my winter training regimen, especially when the roads are too icy or snowy to ride outside.

Be prepared for killer workouts if you buy them!

I've got a couple of them and plan to buy more. They are a great workout and good motivation for the trainer.

One of the bike shops in my area rents TdF, Giro, NORBA races, travel, and other bicycling videos. :)

i got the spinerval video - muscle breakdown for the holidays last year and i couldn't get through it. it took a while to build up enough conditioning to not only get through it but to stay on top of the gearing while doing it.

i am looking forward to getting another one this holiday season.

they start off explaining what they are going to be doing while you warm up and they flash the gearing they are in on the video. . . i found troy to be a good motivational coach....this specific video is a hard interval session...

Anybody know the cheapest place to get the Spinervals videos? Performance has them for about 26 bucks, but for some reason they don't list number 9, (Have Mercy), which is the one I want.

I am just now working my way through the "Clydesdale" video from Spinerval. Appropriate as I am definitely a Clydesdale.

WOW

What a change from my boring "stay in the seat and pedal" boredom from before.

I do need to take a break now and then.

I highly recommend them, and will be getting more.

My only problem is how to fit them into a busy day. Right now I am recovering from brain surgery, so I have lots of time. :D

Thank you everyone for your replys. I bought a couple of them. I got sweating buckets & the clydesdale one (can't remember name). They came in the mail yesterday and i am soooo sore today. i should have bought them last winter. they will help me alot getting thru the rainy oregon days.

DnvrFox, sorry to hear you had to have brain surgery. I hope everything is going well for you.

Am I the 30th or the 40th person you have asked to be your boy friend?

But, I am not particular. My wife and I would love you to be both our boy friend and our girl friend.

When do we meet?

Are you suggesting a threesome?

I don't know. Are you a whole, or a half, or a double?

Hi all

I have thought up an alternative type of video which makes riding indoors feel more like outside, I used a helmet camera & filmed my local training routes as well as a few Alpine climbs like l`Alpe d`Huez etc.If anyone wants to do this also email me if you get stuck or if not I have about 12hours worth of videos all on DVD.

I also videoed a Belgium Kermesse race & have a few clips up on a web site here which you may find of interest.

just got #8 in the series; mental toughness. it is a 90 minute tough interval session that helps with on-the-spot recovery from hard efforts. this video really allows you to try and keep at it after you have blown up on that hill on your training route.

every spinerval video is a massive interval. they are just in different forms.

So supposedly, there's gonna be audio workout CD's available later in January. I can't wait, b/c my workout area has no TV/DVD.
Anyone else considering a Spinerval CD?
