I decided to sign up for my college's mountain biking class somewhat wondering if they would provide the bikes, but secretly hoping I would have to buy my own :D So, after pouring over this forum, mbtr, and my resident floor bike fanatics, I ended up with my '05 Giant Rincon.

I dont have any pictures of my own because I'm not about to inflict my camera phone on you, but it looks great. This has been my first real mountain biking experience and its a blast. We ride around the trails at the lake here once a week for a few hours in class. Its mostly flat with some quick up and downs. I also use it for the campus commute and went down my first set of stairs today. Got some funny looks, but oh, it was worth it. Thanks for helping me into this new addiction and I hope to see you on the trails.
