I assume a 68 x 127 BB is what I need for my wife's Raleigh M30 mtn. bike. It is a triple crank Shimano dual sis 42-34-24

I have found one on E-Bay that is new and I want to get away from the non sealed BB cartridge that has the exposed bearings in a retainer cup if this makes any sense.

Please refer to my post on 1999 Raleigh M30..................

Thanks for any feedback. I hate that sort of BB that is on the bike currently.

I'm not sure that I understand your question. I assume that you are looking for a cartridge bottom bracket to fit your wife's bike. A Shimano UN53 cartridge bottom bracket comes in the required dimensions and should fill the bill.

That's a hell of a long axle... Are you sure all the 127 mm are needed? Usually MTB triples need 118 AFAIK.
