Mountain Biking - Household bathroom silicon used for torn seat.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
My seat had ripped during my crash [ small tear ] so I was curious to find something that could stop it from continuing. I used a bathroom/kitchen silicon to seal it up and it worked great.

that's a good idea.
stuff I've used before is called "shoe-goo"
I got it at rebel sport back when I used to skateboard alot. This stuff is great, all kids who seriously use their skateboard over here love it.
You basically squeeze some onto a hole in your shoe or whatever and spread it over it, few hours later its like a weird layer of leather over it... anyone know this stuff? might just be aussie.
I reckon it'd work a treat
Oh yeah I know about it. Its good stuff too!!!!!

Industrial Strength glue works good.
