A little over 3 weeks and it was well worth it. The pics do not do justice. I picked it up around 6pm tonight an can't wait to see this frame in the sunlight! Enjoy.

wow, you did a great job picking out a slick color there, and C&M did a great job laying it down for ya.
So what do they call that color, envious green? ;)

I forget the exact name. It's a Kandy paint I think electric lime green, metalic dust and gold flake.

They are remodeling the shop at the moment so don't be scared. They keep getting more and more track stuff in.
Eddie. Tomorrow when the sunlight is hitting it I will be sure to take the full bike pics. I will post a few followup pics here and a few in the Photo forum.

that's fuggin' hot yo!
is that fork the bikeworks house special, that paint is bling.
YellowFixedGear
02-26-06, 06:22 PM
yup.It is. Shants has my orig. fork. I want to change it to another True track chrome fork. (soma)?? any ideas?
mattface
02-26-06, 06:26 PM
Soma Rush forks are painted and drilled. They're nice forks, but I want THAT fork for my Rush. Can't really justify it though, nothing wrong with the fork I got, and I don't need to spend any more on it for a while.
YellowFixedGear
02-26-06, 07:14 PM
ohh. Then I'm thinking of a different one. Trackstar had a 1" threaded undrilled chrome track fork in the window. I thought it was a soma. The clearance is super tight.
was all the prep work for painting included in the $200 or did you have to strip it yourself?
YellowFixedGear
02-26-06, 07:54 PM
Nope. They did it all.

I never found out who built it. It has Campy drop outs. The guy at C&M said it was renolds tubing. Maybe oneday I will find out.
