I want to put something different and/or funky in my water bottle mounts. I saw one bike with a wrench in it, but that seems entirely too functional. Any ideas?

If you ride brakeless, mount two brakes there, or a brake in one hole and the lever in th other. Make sure you connect the cable as well. Now that is clearly not too functional, that's for sure.

heh...i don't know where it is exactly, but there's a place here in portland, i hear, that makes flask holders to mount in those holes.

On the right track, but I don't drink. Anything else? Maybe I could do a brake lever on the downtube shifter, and run it to a brake lever mounted on the water bottle bosses.
