flashback to two weeks ago: was skateboarding, bailed a trick, landed weird, and twisted my knee.
flashback to one week ago: got the last parts and tools in for my new build and put everything together.
around the same time: caught a cold that knocked me out of commission for the rest of the week.
present day: have only been able to ride twice in the last two weeks, for less than five miles each time. went from doing 100+ miles a week to none. knee still randomly hurts, but i'm almost completely over the cold. now i have a beautiful bike just laying around not being used, and it's killing me. **** this ****. i'm going insane!
Mail it to me - I'll ride it for you!
Wait - how tall are you?

****ing around in the parking lot at my LSS (local skate shop) on a flat bar. bailed a front board (yeah, i know. i always get hurt on the easy tricks when my guard is down.)
bailed backwards, planted my foot on the ground, and the momentum rotated the rest of my body at the knee.
didn't think it was that bad, but it's been two weeks and it's still giving me trouble... so i might have to get it checked out soon.

dude that sh*t happens to me when i'm skimboarding sometimes. i'll drop the board and for some reason or another i don't land on the board properly and the one leg goes off to catch my balance and i just tweak the crap out of my knee.
