Road Bike Racing - What's the deal with those two Clif-Bars tools?

Those guys are so lame and amateurish with the wooden sales pitch and the grass jersey on the pained rider who wears it and all that... :rolleyes:

I can't believe a Hollywood-y state like CA can't take some tips from the Giro or TDF and get some saucy podium babes up there and won't obtain professional out of work actors on-the-cheap to do the ad spots for Clif. :D

I don’t know about the Clif Bar ad --- haven’t seen it but I like their packaging – good graphics.

I’ll bet that the powers that be at the ToC are afraid of angering the PC Police with podium babes. That sort of thing is much more socially acceptable in France and Italy than the U.S.

I'm not sure if "emasculation" is the appropriate word. I rather doubt that the "American sirit" ever had testes and a penis.
