Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - spacecake + 'broken' bike + night: you do the math

My god.. last night I ate some space cake (which is btw completely legal here in Holland, we shopped the ingredients like hash etc in legal shops..don't you love Holland) while watching the little final ice hockey (mind our timezone = Turino timezone). Nothing happened.. but after an hour my stomach did some good work and the hash started to kick in..

Used to smoke pot i never used space cake... Offcourse i ate way too much and after drinking lots and lots of limonade i thought it was time to bike home. Now (or earlier??) it started to get related to this forum.

I had to cycle about 3kms. Luckely the roads in the city were near empty but the traffic lights.. oh my god did they fool me. I had the idea that i cycled at least 3 times along every known building (like the city's opera). Than i stopped because i had the idea i went nuts. I felt the bike and stuff so i wasnt dreaming but how was it possible i saw parts of the road 2 or 3 times witin minutes... Than i realized that i didnt had a deja vu.. but that the moment i saw the upcoming traffic lights in the distance my brains which were working in hypermode, they showed me the way to come ahead.. like 'pre vu'. Whatever.. totall chaos inside :)

But now the fixie part. I still dont have one, but am planning to build one as soon my new frame arrives. So i was cycling last night on my normal race bike (the broken one ;)) and while stoned like hell i was thinking: keep your stroke steady because thats a good practise for your upcoming fixed gear :)
And so my focus went from the street to my pedals and when i looked up again i saw the same buildings as told above :)

i wish i still did drugs like that. doing acid and riding the **** out of my bike would be spectacular.

I was thinking about how much that would screw me up just last night. Acid while riding I mean.

Using Cid and riding is dangerous as hell. Extremely fun but dangerous as hell. I wouldn't reccomend doing it alone, and you might want somebody sane to be a babysitter/leader, but I can say it's an awesome experience. I can't wait to ride 'til the summer to ride up and down Fairmount Drive while faced, all the green and the water and sights and sounds and rainbows and dancing bears...

yeah i can tell you i found it pretty fascinating all the traffic lights teasing me but it feared me also. One moment i was thinking: I KNOW i'm riding for real but i did this 30 seconds earlier... perhaps i am knocked out bleeding @ the street and reliving the moment before the impact.. When i got home i checked for blood and stuff but nothing happened. My girlfriend came home some hours later (we dont have closing times in the bars/pubs here, i was home 02.00 and she about 4.30) and found me with the TV on, mouth wide open, lights on, sleeping :)

I once ate a special brownie right before Critical Mass. I will NEVER do that again. I remember starting to feel funny about halfway through the ride, and I remember when my girlfriend and I left the mass, and I remember 30 second long snippets of riding home that were spaced about 5 minuites apart, and I remember standing in front of the sink at home washing dishes, wondering who it was that was making those dish washing noises when I was the one in front of the sink, realizing it was me, and deciding to go to bed before I broke something.

I guess it was a pretty serious brownie. I'd never had one before.

honey and hot water, lots of honey.. itll bring you down super quick.. you have too much thc in the blood stream.. honey goes in the bloodstream fast and dilutes it..presto...sanity back.

considering how hard it is for me to make tea when i'm tripping on cid, I wouldn't try biking and tripping. My roomate has however.

i once got dosed at a party in s.f. and had a similar experience... riding home, i was convinced i was in an entirely foriegn city... anyway, it was raining hard, i was completely bewildered, lost in a space/time continuum and s**t, when finally i saw a sign reading "s. van ness" and it hit me... "van ness, san francisco, yes, that is where i live, which must mean... that's where i AM!"... finally got home, at sunrise on the verge of hypothermia, slept til three pm and still felt stoned... i guess the moral of this story is to watch yer back at those beatnik parties... then again, this kinda thing happens to me fairly often...

my favorite is shrooms and riding. i usually take about half the dose it would take to trip hard. i just end up with more energy, enjoying being outside and generally feeling like a million bucks.

i did trip on shrooms in amsterdam last time i was there. it was at night and i decided to go for a ride. cruising through the parks was really cool (even though people say it can be dangerous late at night). but eventually i got really lost, couldn't figure out where i was cause most of the center looks the same. after a couple times of riding a block checking map, riding, checking map i finally found the centraal station and found my way home from there.
