would i be possible to fit a bmx 'cassette' single speed driver to a mtb cassette hub if i removed the freewheel?
don't know if this is the right forum to post this it but i thought i would see if anyone had any ideas anyway.
Installing a threaded BMX freewheel on a MTB cassette hub? Not going to happen without an adapter like this:

It's for fixed gear conversions, but a bmx freewheel will thread on it as well.
It would be much easier to install a single speed cog and spacers onto a typical MTB cassette hub.

I'm going to venture a guess to say that it is not possible. I'm not totally sure how those drivers attach, but I still just don't think so. I guess a shimano one might work if they even make one. I'm curious why you want to?
