I've been a member of the forum for a few months now, but have have just gotten around to introducing myself. Three years ago a friend talked me into riding with her and that's all it took to get me hooked. When I started out I bought a used Cannondale that never quite fit me, but it helped me get my feet wet. Last year I bought a Specialized Dolce and I can't believe how much more fun it is to ride a bike that really fits. I really enjoy the forum and I'm looking forward to learning a lot from you folks.

Another Lincolnite! Cool......

You're right about easily getting hooked on biking in this town (minus the wind). The trails are great. I grew up riding my bikes down Dodge St in Omaha, so you definitely picked the right place to start up.

The older parts of Lincoln have a lot of trees, so the wind isn't always too bad. I'd love to bring my bike and cruise around my old neighborhoods the next time I visit Lincoln, but I fear the airline would trash it. I need to get a folder one of these days....

I'm moving there this summer. I'll look for the Dolce, you look for an Iron Horse.
