I want to put bullhorn bars and a tt brake lever. I have mainly been looking at chucks, performance bike, and nashbar. I really wanted a chrome bar to match my chrome pista frame, but i have not be able to find any (besides fliping and chopping some drop bars).

The bars ive been looking at are:

Profile Design Airwing TT Handlebar

It says "Grooved cable guides for aerodynamics and comfort", but is that internal or external?

internal routing.

Nashbar Time Trial Handlebar
http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?category=92&subcategory=1050&sku=8448&brand=
It says "single cable groove", so external right?

Nitto bullhorn

Internal or external?

For the levers, i have looked at a lot and they all seem pretty similar. I dont need anything real special, so im looking for the best value here.

The whole point of this thread was to get some reccomendations from you guys. I dont know what levers and bars are compatible so hopefully i can get that figured out. Let me know which bars you would pick and what levers to match them with. Thanks!

I'm a huge fan of my Syntace Stratos bars. They fit your arms and wrists perfectly. When I first tried them I didn't even feel like I was holding anything.

internal routing.
I just put a set of those on my Milwaukee this past weekend. I like them. Previously I had the Nitto ones with the drop, and found them uncomfortable. The internal cable routing is wierd... the holes are on the SIDES of the bars. I have a single Cane Creek TT200 brake lever, and the cable exits outside the bars, and on the underside. If I wanted to use the internal routing, I'd have to route it from the middle bottom of the bar over to the side, into the bar, then out the side again.

I said fsck that, and just ran the cable along the bottom of the bar under the tape.

Hmm i like the stokers too. I think i would just get a lever that i could just run the cable straight into without rout it back out.

have used the Stratos bars before, but i recently switched out to some syntace, simply for the fact that they came back a little on the flat before going forward. the stratos are still good bars though.

if you want silver this is what i have, but mine are black

I like the Stoker 26 from Profile. I polished mine since I didn't want black.
