i have a triple crank that i took off the 2 outer rings and want to remove the derailleur, but the chain will slip off, is there a roller guide that i can clamp on my frame and be able to run all 8 speeds in the back, but only the 32t in the front? its the only chainring i ever use, thanks, i tried a search and foung no obvious solution since i can only guess at what the thing is called

We'd be looking at a single ring setup, the most common type of chainguide. I hear E13's SRS is an excellent chainguide but there are others out there that would suit your needs too.
