Track Frame Identification Question (?)

I have an old track frame that I'm trying to identify. It has been repainted so the original maker is unknown, but it's got an "LA" (edited for the typo pointed out below) stamped onto the lugs of the forks.

Any one know this marque?

Looks more as an L A for me...

It was for La Point if I remember correctly.
