Hey all just wanted to say hello from cold upstate ny just bought a new Yavapai mtn bike and looking forward to the weather getting nicer so i can go out and ride

What an opportunity you have. To take a MTB with studded tires down the Lake Placid bobsled run :eek: .
I hiked in the Adirondack State Park before the days of mountain bikes. I hope the dark and tulgy woods are not closed to bikes.

I started out on a MTB a couple years ago -- mostly just to get back into recreational riding. Lived in CT and went cycling around the local parks and had a blast. Recently morphed into a roadie and having a great time with a new bike and rides with guys from the local cycling club.
Can't wait to see dry asphalt again! (BTW, did you get out last weekend -- weather was cool but GORGEOUS day)
