Sorry guys, i know this thread comes up every 2 days.....that being said:

I'm looking to purchase my first tri bike. I've pretty much narrowed it down to a Trek Equinox 7 vs a Motobecane Nemesis. Price is about the same 1000ish (USD), so I guess I'm just looking for some people with strong opinions that can help push me in a direction. Thanks for the help guys.

Trek, long established American company, the bike ridden for 7 TDF wins, likely to be around for a long time to honor warranty claims.

Motobecane, the name of a defunct french bicycle company, assumed by a guy who imports stuff, and sells it on the internet. If I had the opportunity to buy relatively comparable Trek, or Motbecane at a simlar price, there's no doubt I'd buy the Trek.

We just bought the E7 WSD for my wife... Trek offers a very, very nice frame with pretty goood components for a very nice price. All this backed up the customer service and warranties of Trek...Can't see how you could go wrong....
