what happen to Klien road bikes? can't find them in the LBS.
One place showed me a catolog and said they have a few on back order. I know that trek has taken them over but I did not think they would stop the line all together!
does this mean that kliens are classic now?

Klein is doing well. They sponsor the Gerolsteiner pro team in europe headed by Davide Rebellin. This must have helped sales in europe and the USA.
They have beautiful bikes, I guess your shop just isn't interested in carrying them.

Kleins are super nice, and on the expensive side of the spectrum, but they are doing fine. They have some awesome color schemes this yer, plus they are releasing a MTB based on the Maverick American monolink design.

The bike shop ( Cycleworks (http://cycleworksinc.com/site/index.cfm?Loader1) ) near where I work has them in stock.

Cycliste(cycl-iss-tay), must be italian.

Have you ever seen the movie, "A Christmas Story"? The dad gets a 1st place bowling prize, and on the box it says "fragile". But he pronounces it "fra-gee-lay" and then says, "It must be italian!" That has always struck me as funny, and every once in awhile I take a word and say it with an extra "ay" and then say "it must be italian".

What Klein frame did you get ahuman?

I got the 2000 Q race. I dont think the frame weights more then
a pound ( well it must wieght at lest 2lbs) I love the way the color changes in the the light and if you look at it from the front its light blue from the back its dark blue I put dura ace.
how I need handle bars and stem and a seat post well I think the list is never ending one...

Klein is still around.

Problem may be how Trek is handling them.

Most shops simply cannot afford to mass stock these as Klemin may want and thus do not offer them locally.

If Klein would simply make shops buy smaller quantities 3-6 models then many shops may carry the line.

Besides, they are pricier than many cheap aluminum frames out there and consumers nowdays want cheap frames so Klein will really not fly off the shelves.

Xavier I agree with you that Klien is a little costly but the lbs around here used to carry them. I think people are looking at
carbon frames and titanium or a mix of the two. I looked at Klien's
web site and this years models are a mix of aluminum and cabon.
it could also be that they have been taken over by trek.
I love the look and the ride of the Kliens I hope that trek does not ruin the Klien line..

It seems to me that if you are so in love with the Klein that you would learn to spell it correctly. Don't disrespect such a fine piece of equipment.

One of my favorite Christmas movies.
I guess TBS will have their "A Christmas Story" marathon soon -- 24 hours of "You'll shoot your eye out". :crash: :crash:

Welcome to the forums Grayspin

Pretty brave of you to use your first ever post to critisize another user. Maybe not the wisest decision you've ever made.

How about hopping over to the Introductions Forum and letting us know a bit more about you. What kind of riding are you into? Tell us about your bike(s). We look forward to getting to know you.

Hey, ahuman, I guess a lot of us noticed the misspelling but we all knew what you meant.

I own a Q Pro also. love it... Great ride...I have the ivory/white two tone color scheme. A beauty to behold.. I suggest you check with the Klein web site. Dealerships are usually independent.. They will steer you to a dealer. In my county only one store carries Kliens...
