Has anyone ever done the NJ MS Coast the Coast 170 mile ride??? This year the ride is May 19&20. I've never done an over night ride - and am a little aprehensive. If you've done this ride, or one similar - can you let me know what to expect? What should I pack (they take an overnight bag for you), what should I carry on me on the ride itself. What is the first day mileage and second day mileage? Any information would be appreciated - Thanks.

Make sure you check the weather forcast before you go.

In addition to the tools etc. Badger mentioned, if you'll be away from your
overnight bag you'll need to carry some extra clothes, or raingear etc. with you on the bike,
in case of a change in the weather. This can happen easily in the time you'll be riding (6+ hours).

And then there's the next day to think about, where you'll want a
change of riding clothes, of course these you can store in your overnight bag.
