Hehe....people put too much stock on post count. I've always thought it funny how so many people seem so concerned about it. I could have a post count of 10K, and have 9.9K in stupid threads like the word association thread. It doesn't say anything about what a great forum member or bike enthusiast I am.

Hmm, I've got 690 posts in that thread, you have 647. I'd call it just about neck and neck.

I used to have a lot more posts but my posts went on a crash diet which made all the posts disappear and now there are a lot fewer.

On any forum that has a "topic" behind it (like bikes for this forum), you have a large number of people (with no sense of humor IMO) who think that people should post ONLY about <insert forum topic here>. And those people get really worked up over somebody having more posts then they do beccause the posts that are about Off-topic stuff is counted. Personally, I like that it ruffles their feathers....because if there feathers are ruffled over something so meaningless then they need it!! :D

I'm exactly like that! More than half of my posts on BF are only in the Word association and This or that threads. I am one useless forum member, aren't I :o

Well at least you don't hide the fact that your signal to noise ratio is bad :p
i try to hide that fact by being a post ***** and posting all over the place :D :o

I prefer Quality to Quantity.

I've been here a little over a year, and have only twenty-five posts.

One was nominated for a Pulitzer prize

Know the feeling man. Wish there was a way to go back and see what my first post was, but the history only goes back 500 posts and I'm at well over 2k now.

You're probably on more ignore lists than posts you have.

Are we ever gonna see those bikes you "have?"
