I am currently commuting with my Specialized Expedition Comp ( discs ) using a combination of backpack and a seatpost rack ( Topeak MTX ). I keep my battery for the lights in a small rack bag along with some tools. I would like to ditch the backpack :) and move to a bigger rack bag. Has anyone used the MTX DXP ( fold down panniers ) bag ? I haven't gotten to see one yet and wonder if I can fit my commuting stuff in it ( clothes, food, etc ).
Any feedback from people actually using the topeak with panniers would be appreciated.

if you are using a seatpost rack, there's nothing to hook the bottoms of the pans to, won't they flap around and hit your spokes?
I have an Axiom rack and bag set with the holdout pannier sides and tthat works nicely for me. I don't use the sides much, unless the temp goes from very cold to warm, during working hours.
I want to find a darn rack bag that is not insulated!

The post rack has pannier sides that you can get, I am debating getting the bag, but don't know if it has enough space for a commuter.
