So, I don't race on a track or anything, but I found this article and thought it might interest a few folks here. Coatesville is a town on the decline and they have been looking for something to bring people in and basically save the town. Their first thought was a luxury golf course, which I believe has fallen through. It gave rise to a huge battle over eminent domain and the condemnation of a local farm to build said golf course. (http://www.theinternetparty.org/commentary/c_s.php?td=20020513101557§ion_type=com) The farm owners eventually won their case. So, now I guess they are focusing on track cycling. Maybe no more waiting for T-Town to thaw out.
