I saw a blurb on CBNC no more than two hours ago about a man who broke into Corporate America before he was 30 years old. They said they might look to him to save America somehow.
Unfortunately I was unable to see the report. Can anyone tell me who this man is? I would like to find out more about him.

It's me. I rock! :p
Seriously though dude, lots of people break into "Corporate America" right out of college - some before even. Or are you talking about a thief maybe? My point is that your post is not very clear. Maybe if you elaborate a bit more, it will help. :)

Didn't watch CNBC today but the firt person to come to mind as a major player in corporate America before the age of 30 would be Bill Gates. If they were talking about someone currently under 30 I have no clue.

Broke into corporate America? How big a success? Didn't watch CNBC today, unlike usual, so I'm not sure who you're referring to.
That said, I know plenty of people who made their millions in investment banking before age 30, so that's not all that special. My best friend's bonus the other year was $480,000. My cousin's annual bonuses are routinely in that ballpark. (Meanwhile, I'm a grad student on a $30,000 stipend.) To have a major influence on a company that's a household name and make tens of millions, on the other hand, is pretty hard to accomplish by that age. I personally know one person who almost did that. His company's not a household name, but it shook up a well-known industry and provides core services to some companies that are household names.
Come on, that's only cause you're asian. My friends are making $150k a year fresh out of college in finance and investment. Wtf am I doing in engineering...

Yeah... like USAZorro said, there are craptons of 20somethings with corporate jobs. It's not all that amazing.

They made a big deal about it because I think they said he was the first to do it. They showed a picture of him and unless I was looking at the wrong guy about one quarter of his hair was white or light gray. I now it is fairly common now, but I do not think it was when this guy did it.

The one I mentioned who's most successful isn't Asian. And he runs a company that happens to have very few Asians in it despite the company being in an Asian-heavy field. (Not that he has anything against Asians... I consult for his company, which is why I know him.)
