All right, I am confused. How is there an "optional" third lap. What does that mean?
Perhaps I am missing something. I really don't know how this thing is scored with the first lap "neutral" and the third "optional".

The neutral bit just means that we won't be going real fast and we'll be stopping before it first starts (Like neutral ride to an intersection, wait for the green light, then IT'S ON!)
Dunno about the "optional" bit.

You don't have to do the third lap, but if you do you'll place higher.

Yeah, I would imagine, but how does that work?
