Ok, so now I have two bikes and want to move my better components to the larger (right sized) frame.
Problems?- It's 27" wheels and my wheelset is 700C. Help? I was thinking or redrilling the brake bosses on the fork to make the clamp thing fit.
Need to swap headsets. Rebuild bottom bracket. Repaint it.
Any advice on 27" to 700c?

I'm in the process of building new 700c wheels from my early eighties trek 520 which orginally came with 27in wheels. I started by putting the wheels from my club riding bike into the trek and adjusting the cantilever brakes to see if they'd work. Everything seemed fine without any other modification. Sheldon Brown has a section on his website dedicated to converting or reviving older frames which focuses on updating wheelsets and shifting systems. You might find that useful.

well, the bosses for my 105 brakes won't accomodate the "jacket" from the bolt so yea. gonna drill it I think.
Are you talking about just enlarging the existing hole? That should be fine.

You need to drop the pads about 4mm lower. If you don't have the adjustment range (many brakes do), you could get longer reach brakes.

From looking at my 105 brakes it loosk like they have enough room for it.
