Hey, i have an old pair of suntour pedals. the bearings are worn (not by me) i want to replace them, i don't want to mess up the pedal. i took off the bolt at the end of the pedal but the spindle didn't slide out, i didn't want to damage it by trying to take it out the wrong way, so i thought id ask. i already know the bearings sizes. and i think these should be fine

You might get better advice in the mechanics forum.

I don't think your pedals take cartridge bearings.

Mine have cartridge bearings as well (Suntour Superbe pros). Would love to know the recommended method for swapping the bearings out.

Hmm, I never knew that. I would have though that older pedals would all be cup/cone. Maybe they're not servicable ala early phil stuff?

they are basically MKS RX-1. try finding info on RX1, that might be easier.
