Ghosts bikes are well-known phenomenon in NYC. A particularly prominent ghost bike is on 5th Ave in Brooklyn where Liz Padilla was killed last year. This ghost bike is very close to one of the biggest bike shops in Brooklyn (R&A) so it is seen a lot.
