Nothing like being on a back country road, on a nice day, riding my winter bike, sunny.....cold......quiet.....and here comes a snowmobile running along, all over the place, at what had to be close to 100 mph. I don't think he saw me until the last second, we both almost crapped our pants. Never a dull moment...

Brand new law and they still have a death wish. I had a pack of about 10 or 12 run me right off the trail a few years back. I don't think much can be done, except for reporting it.

Glad your ok

I have found that if you ride snowmobile trails at night, the snow is packed harder and more fun and as an added bonus the machines are lighted and going a little snower.

But, in my experience, the operators are drunker. Be careful.

Drunker being the key word. 'Round here they are called Slednecks. Rarely sober. Rarely law abiding.
