Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey, I know I already posted this photo in another (related) thread, but I'm just so exited to finally have a cool shot of myself! I'm always on the other side of the camera, and never get to be in the photos. My buddy nabbed this shot on the Ridge Trail at the Soquel Demonstration Forest right before we dropped into the Braille Trail! What do you think?

Peace,

Hawk

a shave-legged mountian biker? wow. i thought that was a roadie thing. Thinking about it, it makes sense, you probably would get more dirt in a wound, but I didn't know that MTBrs did it also. I guess you learn something new everyday...

Hey Hawk, sweet photo. I've got one question, are you screaming because of what is ahead of you or did you just clear some thing that scared the sh** out of ya:p ?
It realy is a sweet photo though.

Yes, my legs are shaved! And I haven't crashed since I shaved them (oops, knock on wood). So, I couldn't tell you of the practical cleansing aspect... but I could tell you that they feel nice, look great, and keep me motivated to ride as much as I possibly can... 'cause if I don't ride, why the **** would my legs be shaved? And, that would just be weird!

I had actually just overted an almost inevitable painful impact with a redwood tree and some rather large and jagged rocks... I was a little relieved in the photo!

I'll keep posting shots as I get them... They're on slides so it takes a little time to get them scanned. But, I'm bringing the camera on every ride!

Peace

Mike
