I have read a few threads about removing the decals, but I am wondering if anyone has tried removing the head badge. I do like the surly logos, but I like the idea of a clean bike even more. I removed the decals but I don't want to remove the badge unless I know it can be done cleanly without removing paint. Anyone every attempt this, successfully or no?
I think itīs covered by laque.. So it will leave a scar to remove it..
But take a long look at the big "S" in the headbadge .. Its a rabbit holding a teapot!!! Sideview and its looking left! tee hee..

It is a rabbit holding a teapot! That is funny. Thanks for the info, I think I will leave it on unless someone comes up with a clean way to take it off with no scar.

Really, no scar. I love that Surly makes it so easy to clean up there bikes, wish every company did. I might just give that a try. Thanks mate.

+1. The head badge on my Pacer was just a puffy sticker with adhesive. It was peeling off by itself anyway.
